The Security and Intervention Groups Job Fair is an initiative of the Canadian Armed Forces Recruitment managing center in partnership with federal, provincial and municipal agencies.
Since its debut 2017, the Job Fair has brought together many employers offering opportunities related to security and intervention groups, from both the private and public sectors.
During this annual event, it will be possible to meet with recruiters and obtain information about job opportunities. Some employers will even offer to apply directly on site. Visitors will also get the chance to familiarize themselves with the different equipment and vehicles that will be showcased.
Were you aware that many of the careers offered can be complementary to one another? For example, many military personnel work part time in the Primary Reserves while also being employed as police officers, firefighters or security agents, to name a few.
Whether you are searching for a career that is full or part-time, with or without uniform; you are sure to find a trade that suits you.
